My complaint:
I never had a membership. I only went 4x’s I went with a girlfriend after the first visit told the rep it wasn’t for me. I have a dispute for $298 for planet fitness. First, I’m confused how I had a contract as I went only 4’xs with a friend who had a membership. I told the guy the first day, “it wasn’t for me to commit,”. The other 3x’s was with a friend so I thought I was a guest. Instead, I was charged all along.
Surprisedly, I spoke to a very nice representative from DX who helped me start the dispute process Feb 2,2020
Stupidly, I thought that DX would give me my money back right away. I was sooo wrong.
I had to wait a week for the paperwork in the mail as nothing came to my email. Not surprised, as had I have no luck with DX when it comes to tech as I can’t see my account and every time I’ve called I’ve been put on hold so long I can’t wait, or a message to call back later.
With the dispute process it’s the same phone game, hold for an hour or more I get someone, they put me on hold to someone else and or don’t even come back!
After 2 months I found out they want the cancellation notice. Where am I getting that if I didn’t get one? I didn’t get one. In addition they had to change management recently as it wasn’t run properly. I got the hint they were doing shady things and I wasn’t the first!
Suggested solution:
Give me back 298.00 how can I show a contract I never had one! Just found complain.biz I hope they can help me.
