My complaint:
I booked a flight with Pegasus Airlines from Helsinki to Alexandria with a transit in Istanbul Sabiha airport for 1h:30mins and then I had another flight after 7 hours from my arrival time. The first flight from Helsinki was delayed around 2 hours and this caused me to miss the second flight to Alexandria. The airline company offered me two options while I was in Istanbul; either to make a Turkish visa electronically and pay 30 USD and then enter Turkey officially to stay at their hotel in the airport until the following day’s night when I would take the flight to Alexandria, or I can take another flight to Hurghada in Egypt instead of Alexandria which I chose eventually. Hurghada is over 600km which I ended up taking a car to drop me off in Alexandria and unfortunately I was already late for my other morning flight which cost around 115 Euros.
Suggested solution:
I would like to be compensated for the missed flight as well as flight delay compensation itself.
