Parkdean Resorts complaint: management attitude to dealing with a problem

My complaint:

We booked a short stay at valley farm holiday camp where we once owned a caravan when our children were small. We booked a monday to friday short trip through the sun deals. We arrived 26922 to 30922. we were offered a basic caravan for £9.50 per person. There was 4 of us. We decided that we would like to upgrade to a bigger caravan at an extra cost of £52 which was described as COMFEXTTRA accommodation plus paid additional optional £20 for entertainment passes.

When we arrived at valley farm were given key to caravan 701. This was a very small basic caravan. We could not find a smaller caravan on the site.

We went to office and said there had been a mistake but was greeted with a very bad attitude from girl behind desk. I asked to speak to the manager who gave his name as johnny. His attitude was same a s the girl behind desk. He said take up your problems with the sun and nothing to do with parkdean even though i showed him the booking conformation sent to us by parkdean resorts. He said if we wanted to upgrade we had to pay another £69. We did not want to pay for an upgrade we had already paid for but had no choice as van allocated to us was to small.

We had already stayed at a parkdean resort in wales which we enjoyed. We decided to go to valley farm as we were interested in buying a caravan as we now have grandchildren but would not consider this now as staff to rude.

Entertainment passes was another rip off as for one we were not once asked to see them and the entertainment was an absolute joke.

Suggested solution:

Reimburse the upgrade fee charged to us that we had already paid for plus entertainment pass refund. total £89. Staff in office to be spoken to and to be trained how to talk to people with genuine complaints.
