My complaint:

We stayed at Brynowen holiday park from 7th June -11th June and stayed at Gwent 6, with booking ref: 8590285.
During our stay there through no fault of our own, someone on the ground staff, so we were told, was spiking the grass in certain areas. During which they cut through a power cable cutting off the power to a huge section of caravans for an entire day. We have a young baby who requires a warm bottle every few hours still and were worried about how we would be able to heat the bottles during the night.
First of all we were given a key to the touring site, which was unacceptable due to it being a good 20 minute walk in each direction from where we were. It was at 10pm they decided to offer us another caravan across the park which we could use, but by which time our baby was sleeping and was not suitable to move everything across the park whilst the problem was fixed.
They eventually got the power back on around 10:30pm but we were advised it would be going back off in the morning to fix the problem, meaning we wouldn’t be able to stay in the caravan during the day and had to go out due to no power to warm bottles.
All we were offered was a round of drinks at the bar, which, whilst appreciated was hardly appropriate with all the stress that was caused to ourselves on what was meant to be a relaxing first family holiday away.

I know that this was an accident but it affected over 20% of our stay at the park and did cause a lot of stress.

Suggested solution:

I would like to have a discount that we can use on another stay with yourselves at one of your parks of our choosing.
