My complaint:

We arrived at kessingland with our 3yr old and the caravan was stinking of dogs and had not been cleaned. Bedding had dog hair in it and yellow stains and there was mould all round the windows. Dead insects were laying on the shelves in the bedroom and black currant stains up the wall.
We complained to reception with a frosty reception from the supervisor who sent a machine down to remove the smell ?! This took an hour.
Obviously this wasn’t cleaning the place and the smell was still there after we had waited so we returned to say did we have another option and the supervisor was so rude, saying they only had one upgrade and that it would cost us £240 !!!!! She couldn’t have given a flying care that we had been waiting woth food in our car and a disappointed child. We were told to wait again so she could personally inspect this flea pit so off we trotted down to wait another 20mins for her arrival and she didn’t come down so at this point we had had enough. Retuned to reception and asked for a refund.
Half way home a lady called to say the supervisor had been to the caravan and agreed totally with us abojt the cleanliness and smell and woukd we like a free upgrade to which we replied, no thanks ! No apology was given at anytime during this.
Whilst wondering around we found the complex facilities to have no food being served as no chef and the toilets were vile.

Suggested solution:

Customer service training especially for supervisor
Cleaning need to be improved
