My complaint:

I ordered 3 calzones from Papa Murphys. When I got home I followed the directions which said to remove the cardboard sleeve and the plastic lid. You were supposed to leave the clzine in the tray provided to cook them. I put 2 of them on a cookie sheet, preheated the oven, put them in the oven, set the timer then walked outside for 10 min.  Upon entering the house it was full of smoke with a strong chemical smell. I opened the oven and the trays were melting and very charred.

I contacted the corporate offices via BBB. Took them 2 weeks to respond only to say, we strive to do our best. That’s it, they never did contact BBB. I responded with that not being enough and that I wanted a refund. I tried to send this new message to them only to find it was a no reply email.

How convenient. Even more concerning is the calzone trays, serious problem with those and they did not even mention it. This is a situation that could get them sued, they clearly do not care about their customers. Their corporate offices are in dire need of some customer service training. They have lost my business.

Suggested solution:

Issuing a refund and investigating those calzones trays.

I had this EXACT thing happen to me yesterday and the trays disintegrated when I tried to remove them from the oven. I ordered from DoorDash so they offered me a refund on the calezones, but those trays are toxic. My house still smells of burnt plastic and smoke.
