Everything from the ordering process to getting this complaint submitted it’s been a disaster. I had a simple order of half a sandwich and a cup of soup. Supposedly because I signed up I was together a promotional item which when I tried to apply that code to my message repeatedly told me that’s not available. OK so then to the delivery: they are literally five minutes from where I live. Every message I got about the tracking of the delivery was different, i.e., delivery will be there in three minutes, then two minutes and three minutes then one minute etc. I did finally get a message that it was here and it had been delivered well I had asked them to knock on my door let me know it was there and I didn’t get any knocking so I looked out and there’s nothing there I live in an apartment where you have to come inside the hallway to access the apartments so I went downstairs thinking maybe they left it at one of my neighbors.That’s what I noticed the soup sandwich and an additional loaf of French baguette that I had ordered sitting outdoors on the sidewalk in the freezing air. That being bad enough, soup was great, the sandwich was terrible it was barely warm and what was supposed to be a roast beef and Gouda sandwich with horseradish sauce turned out to be a little scoop of cheese and meat in the center of the role, dried up beef, and empty bread all around the “pile”. And of course no horseradish sauce. I tried warming up the sandwich but it was terrible. So I didn’t eat it. That little bit of soup and half Sandwich came to a total of $23.44. I will never again get a take-out order from Panera for a delivery, and just writing this complaint has been difficult this is my third attempt at putting this all on paper just to have it disappear before I can send it. I don’t want a replacement I want a refund. My order number is 536297074. I’m frustrated, have been trying to deal with this process for 3 orders!,!
