My complaint:
I had called a week earlier to make sure the Wednesday special of $10.99 for seniors was still going on. The girl who answered asked the manager who said it was. I made a reservation for Valentines Day, Wed, for 1:30 pm.
It was the worst Valentine’s Dinner ever! The manager said there had never been such a special when we had gone several times on Wednesdays so that was a lie.
We decided to eat and ordered their Lunch Special of Steak and Fries. It was 3.00 more EACH than we expected to pay and as Seniors we have to watch every penny. We asked for the steak to be well done but it was BURNED and FATTY. We had to ask for Steak Sauce and Ketchup as they do not have it on the tables. By the time the steak sauce arrived my dinner was ice cold.
The portions were extremely small, even for lunch. Our steaks weren’t even the size of a one dollar bill.
By that time we were very upset! The only good thing about this restaurant was our server, Daisy, who was wonderful! But she had so many people and having to run back for sauces really takes up the waitresses time!
I don’t expect we will ever hear anything back about this but we will NEVER go back to any Outback Steakhouse. Shame on you and shame on that manager for making me feel like they thought I was lying!
Suggested solution:
Give us two free dinners and not lunch dinners. And an apology for saying those specials were never there when they were!
