Opodo complaint: Opodo immediately cancelled flights made, yet I am still waiting for ‘Requested refund’

My complaint:

I booked my flights back in Nov 2021 and Opodo immediately cancelled the flights and said I had to book them again. I needed the money to be able to book them again but they said they would have to request refund from the airline. It has been 122 days and they say it has to be 180 days. They have further taken another payment yesterday and I have contacted them about this as it should not have happened and again they say it has to go through the ‘request refund’ process as this is their ‘policy’. I had also blocked the account from being able to take money so I am unsure how they have managed to do this. I will also be speaking with my bank about this.

Suggested solution:

Give back the money owed which is over £600, and the £353.64 taken yesterday should be refunded within the next few days NOT go through refund request up to 180 days!
