My complaint:
We were in the store for over an hour shopping for Home supplies for our daughters new home. We had 2 Carts full as we approached the cashier. The cashier was a older black woman that made a statement to us as follows: I ain’t waiting on you white people that don’t listen also Damn White people think you can do anything you want stated many times YOU PEOPLE I was not wearing a mask in the store for over an hour due to medical reasons (Chronic Asthma) I carry a puffer and have a card form my doctor. The cashier yanked our carts from us and pulled them to the side, My wife was wearing a mask so I figured to resolve this I would hand her the bank card and go pull the car up, but the cashier then made the statement You Whites can leave I ain’t selling you anything So we waited by the door for the manager with another customer that heard this. The manager did not seem to care and said she couldn’t do anything. Our Carts had at least $500 in merchandise and we were insulted and demeaned by this woman in front of a lot of people.
Suggested solution:
The cashier should be fired along with the manager that refused to do anything or even hear the whole statement. This was a Racially provoked incident.
