My complaint:
Flyers,emails and commercials were sent out regarding customer appreciation day. My mother went and bought several items and was told the 15% was for Ollie’s army people only. THAT IS NOT INDICATED ON THE FLYER,EMAIL OR COMMERCIAL. I called on her behalf today and the salesperson I spoke to was snippy, stated corporate had made a mistake not stating it was for army members only . I’m sure this is not the only complaint received but why would we not get a discount when it states clearly customer appreciation and even suggests to bring a friend. We feel if it is advertised it should be honored. That is basic decent business practice. Please advise as to hoe my mother can receive her 15% customer appreciation discount as advertised.
Suggested solution:
Have decatur,al give 15% refund difference or store credit. Period. The end.
