My complaint:
Look I mailed my electric bill in December on12/24/23 and my check has not arrived. I called OGE and ask them about my bill and they said they have not received it. I was told my electric was going to be shut off on 1/15/24 if I didn’t have bill payed by then. I said okay and told them that I would cancel that check and send another one. And I asked him at OGE what happened if my check was canceled and it shows up and they try running it and I have already paid them with another check they would still charge me 30 dollars for the check that was lost in mail.
I’m on a fixed income and don’t agree with them wanting to charge me 30 dollars for something I am not at fault for. How many people have been charged fees for the mail delivery service problem and OGE still wants 30 dollars is wrong.
Suggested solution:
Not charging people for mail delivery issues is not my fault and I should not be billed for something I have no control over
