My complaint:

I was shopping today in the no frills store in my community on Southdale Road East location…The customer in front of me had their Dog sitting inside their shopping cart… I personally thought it was very disgusting putting their dog in a shopping cart when we as customers use the cart to put our fruits and vegetables… I brought it to one of your floor supervisor attention, she was confused and did not know what to say, but she really did not do anything about it…one customer heard me and said, he think its a guide dog ,agreed with me that should not happen regardless…if it was indeed a guide dog, why is the dog not guiding and was guided.. The customers knew that something was going on and was being a little uncomfortable. they were well dressed customer and not very old.. For the people who are not dog lovers, why do we have to condone such nonsense… cart are for public use…I did not take a picture due to making the situation a spectacle…. I am sure the other customers was wondering also..

Suggested solution:

There should be policy and procedure in place about putting your dog in the shopping cart that is for the public use... I can understand taking a guide dog in the store, but going to the extent of putting it in your shopping card is despicable and Insanitary, especially with all the virus, measeals etc that is going aroung right now...
