My complaint:
First, I only receive my flyer (on home computer) the day before the sale ends which is ridiculous as it hardly leaves room for error – to plan in order to take advantage of the sale !! AND the dates of the sale should be clearly posted before you even start reading it and NOT hidden in the text after the flyer – text that nobody really reads.
PRICING: It is so confusing as to what items are on sale as your signs say one thing but the sale items displayed always include other items not included in the sale !!!
I.E. – Campbell’s soup only 2 kinds of soup (ie. chicken noodle and vegetable) were on sale but 2 or 3 other soups (tomato) were not on sale but stacked amongst the sale items – there was even a bigger sign saying tomato was was included in the sale – so which sign is to be believed bc get to the cash and it’s NOT !!
So pricing if you buy 4 was much cheaper but then you find out that you only have 2 of the sale items, what do you do !!!! People don’t want to waste time, trying to interpret the signs, nor waste time at the cash to get 2 more of the sale items andor double check the signs. It’s like you’re cheating people hoping they’ll buy the 2 cans but then, of course, at regular price, hoping people don’t notice !!!
This goes on thruout the store and I have 3 No Frills stores in my neighbourhood, within a 5 min. drive. Also sale signs are not always taken down that have expired, are often hard to read (small print) or are placed under the product NO longer on sale but you pick it up thinking it’s on sale !!! I have been in the stores and often heard other customers complain and even once at the cash the cahier agreed with me !! So it seems pretty prevalent.
Suggested solution:
Please FIX IT as you'll either lose customers andor have pissed off customers - that probably won't take the time or have the time, to complain in writing, UNfortunately !!! Please don't take advantage of customers who need to save even pennies esp. in these struggling times and in general !!
