Netspend complaint: Account Blocked

My complaint:

Netspend blocked my account on 7-25 for what they considered Fraud, They are are requesting that I send identify information to resolved the problem which I understand . The problem is they are requesting that I send proof of address, stating the address on my id must match the address which is on my account which it does not. I was told by 2 agents that if I got my phone restored they could use that for verification only to be told after borrowing money to have my phone restored that that is not possible. I have not been able to access my account information online or using the automated system. As of today, they have blocked me from speaking with anyone because of the number of times I have called. I should not be obligated to prove to Netspend where I live if I no longer live at an old address. I have been treated like garbage with every customer service agent I spoke with, It seems they are so concerned with closing my account and sending me a check in the mail. Sending checks in the mail is not a safe way for me to get my funds returned. It seems to me that Netspend is committing FRAUD against me, What right do they have to block my money, not provide with any information as to why, demand I verify my address, block me from being able to speak with anyone. This a a prepaid card not a debit or credit card, My address should not be a factor as long as I can verify my identify. I plan to seek further action if the block is not removed from my account. I will be sending a copy of my id and ssn card along with documents from the postal service and copy of documents from the state that shows my current address.Please provide me with the section code regulation that states Netspend has the right BLOCK MY ACCOUNT FROM ALL ACTIVITY AND DEMAND THAT i SHOW PROOF OF MY ADDRESS . This situation has stressed my out, I have not been able to buy food gas or function as normal because of this.

Suggested solution:

They could have used my phone number that is connected to my account or my new email address that was updated for verification Furthermore, when I was calling Netspend in order to speak with a representative you have to provide debit card or ssn along with your pin number, Who else would have this information but me. It just seems to me as though the Fraud is coming from within the company, They have not done anything to protect my account.
