My complaint:

Every month I pay $16.99 AUD to NETFLIX AUSTRALIA PTY LTD via paypal. I only watch Netflix in one room of my house, so I should be paying around $10.-00 a month.

You have the standard 2 screen plan which includes Full HD picture quality. You can change your plan to the basic (1 screen, HD picture quality) on the website http://www.netflix.com/changeplan or through their customer service. The number of screens means how many devices you can watch Netflix on at a time, so the basic plan is probably better for you, but also slightly poorer picture quality.
