NCF Living complaint: Non deliver of Order no HLOM1932 made on 28082022 of three seater soff, chester chair, Ellis black dining chairs.

My complaint:

the NCF promised to delive before 9 Sept 2022; it did not come. Then I went to NCF show room at St Andrews Keys and aske manager Alan and accountant Lee on Monday, 26 September. They promised to be deliver on Tueday 27 Sept; but I did not get any call.

I called thrice on 28092022 to 0121 356 5698. No one responds.

I requsted if they could take an urgent action and let the delivery be made on that day.

There was no answer.

We did not recieved the delivery as promised despite a long wait. I visited the Hull NCF three times to inquire when the delivery happens. But it never came. It was causing tension to us and follow up further was not possible. This was the reason for cancellation.Please return our deposit .

I had to candel the order – I was in tension because of this and was busy at work.

Then they reply by email as follows:

Thank you for your email. We understand it is frustrating, however, as previously explained when you cancel the order this will incur cancellation fees. Unfortunately as we did try to book a date and you wanted to cancel instead, the cancellation charge stands, hence we would retain the deposit.

If there is anything else I can do to help, please don’t hesitate to ask.

I had been to the NCF Hull store 3-4 times for this - each time promised never delivered. I felt harrased and was in tension. I am busy, and was not possible to continue in that way. .

For not escalating this case further, I propose a solution. Please ask the NCF store to give me two dinning chairs that were part of that deal if you do not want to return my deposit. I can go an pick it up from that store. Then I will not claim the deposit.

If you do not agree, I have report it to the authorities.
