MSC Cruises complaint: Promotion Rescinded Without Warning

My complaint:

I’VE GOT A COMPLAINT. I called MSC this morning to make a cruise reservation. The customer service representative tried to make our reservation, to include the Drink WiFi promotion, and gave us the total price, which included the Drink WiFi promotion, but said the computer wouldn’t allow her to complete the reservation. Yet, the MSC website still showed the Drink WiFi promotion, with no mention of an expiration date.

So, then, I called Cruise.com to try to make the same reservation. The representative took our information and said she would need to call MSC to complete our reservation, and add the Drink WiFi promotion to our reservation. When she got back to me, after an hour, she said that after talking with three different MSC Cruise representatives, they told her that MSC was updating their computer system TODAY, and was no longer offering the Drink WiFi promotion…. WITH NO NOTICE!

So, instead of paying ~$700couple more for the Drink WiFi promotion, if we wanted the Drink package, it by itself would cost an additional $2500couple.

One of the reasons we selected MSC was for the promotion. TO SAY THAT I’M ANGRY IS AN UNDERSTATEMENT!!!

Suggested solution:

MSC should honor their Drink WiFi promotion, since they still advertised it on their website, and they're was no mention of an expiration date.
