My complaint:

I am complaining about MSC cruises because due to London being in gridlock on 011022 as the trains were on strike on the day we were going to board the cruiseliner we missed the ship and it left early at 7pm. Due to no fault of our own the ship was scheduled to leave at 8pm and because of London being in gridlock we missed the ship by a few mins as we saw it disembarking we would have arrived at 5pm in time to board the ship. It was a very emotional and upsetting experience and we were not the only ones to get caught up in the delay there were other people too that we met on the way. The ship could have waited knowing external factors may have taken place. we are very angry and upset.

Suggested solution:

They should compensate us for all the trauma and extra expenses we had to endure in order to catch up to the cruiseliner in Spain. We endured traveling expenses and we had to get taxis and trains and planes and all the emotional heartache we experienced by missing it by a few minutes. We had to book 3 hotels in order to make the journey to the following country the ship was traveling to.

1 year ago - Customer Services on board were not helpful. They had no empathy towards our experience and didn’t even offer any upgrade or complimentary perks knowing we had been traveling 3 days. Totally disregarded our complaint and we felt upset with their unwelcoming approach.
