My complaint:

Dear MSC

We had booked for the kid’s cruise and arrived back today.

This was my second cruise and my extended families first. We were a group of 20 in total.
We completely understand the situation with not being able to visit the island on 30th March 2022. However, this trip was a complete disappointment for my children.
We booked in 2020 and was scheduled to sail in March 2021, unlike many other travellers that cancelled due to the wait we decided to wait due to the excitement of our kids.
The price of the cruise was not cheap, and we didn’t receive any discounts for the wait. This made it even more disappointing, and this didn’t really feel like any special kid’s cruise at all.
Parents also paid a fee for joining the kids, especially on the island and there simply was no vibe on the ship to compensate for this.

I would like to thank you for the upgrade to the balcony cabin, because that is where my kids preferred to be for most of the trip due to the lack of entertainment for kids 11 to 16.

As a gesture of good faith and future travels, we would like to be considered for weekend trip which included the island. It simply made no sense to pay the amount we did for a cruise on the ocean.

Suggested solution:

A free weekend for the family as this was a complete disappointment after waiting 2 years.
