My complaint:
We are homeless and received a motel voucher for inclement weather, which we have done many times. This time we were sent to motel 6 in escondido. Which we haven’t stayed at since sometime last year. Went to check in and wss told I was Dnr because in february, last month, I rented a room for an unregistered guest. Since the inclement weather shelter ran out of vouchers long before we went to motel six, we couldn’t get another voucher somewhere else. I mentioned it to a friend of ours and he said they tried doing the same thing to his girlfriend. Also claiming it was in the month of february. Like I said, we haven’t been there in over a six months to a year if bot longer so I don’t see how they can do this.
Suggested solution:
Take me off the dnr list, apologize for blatantly lying and causing a whole lot of unjust suffering for my disabled girlfriend and myself. They should give us a room on top of it but since the county paid for it, they should not be allowed to get the room contracts from the county anymore. Since I'm not the only homeless person they have done something like this to.
