My complaint:

My friend and I were going for a conference to Redding. I had booked a wheelchair accessible room with two beds since my friend is in a wheel chair and needs to be able to access the shower in the wheel chair. When we got to the hotel, we were informed that not only did they not have a wheel chair accessible room for us, but they didn’t even have an ADA room with two beds in the entire hotel. They did that they saw that we booked a ADA room with two beds but couldn’t accomodate us since they were totally booked out. In fact they had put us on the second floor without an elevator in the hotel. I convinced them that my friend could not get up the stairs. We looked around town for another room but couldn’t find anything because there was a car show in town. At that point Motal 6 told us to either take it or leave it. We stayed for one night in the room, but did not stay for the second night since she was not able to take a shower and could barely use the toilet. On top of all of that our room smelled strongly of old stale smoke, the floor was extremely dirty and there were bugs in the room. One on the bedroom wall and one in the bathroom. I took photos but have them not attached.

Suggested solution:

We would like a refund please. We had to cut our trip short because of the lack of appropriate accomodations. We offered Motel 6 numerous suggestions to make it right none of them they wanted to accomodate. At this point we would like a full refund.
