My complaint:
I am writing about my unpleasant experience with the employees at Motel 6 where I have booked a room on a couple of occasions for my adult son.
After my son was there a few days, I booked again but my son forgot and went to the office this morning, July 8, 2021 to ask whether it was checkout time. Without even asking his name or mine, since I booked it, the man at the desk told my son that yes, it was checkout time and my son turned in the key. I had already paid for additional days, beginning July 9 through Sunday, July 11.
When my son told me he had checked out, I was upset and went to the motel office to ask for the room key. The woman at the desk is usually unfriendly but the man next to her was worse. He was chewing some food and started laughing at me. I told him it was not funny. He told me to calm down or I would be checked out right away. I told them I would contact the manager, and the woman told me she was the assistant manager and that I had better make sure I am out of there on Saturday (which is the 10th!) .
A few days ago, when I went to the office early in the morning, the person at the desk was a young man sleeping on the chair. When I woke him up he looked annoyed, unfriendly and rude. I could not understand what he was saying because of the Plexiglas. I told him I could not hear him, to which he replied he was talking loud enough.
Suggested solution:
Contact me to let me know you have taken steps to correct those rude employees.

He suffers from mental illness. This Motel 6 is in Raleigh, North Carolina. It upset me that my son left in the room the groceries I had purchased for him the previous day, so I went to the office and showed the attendant a copy of the reservation. I had paid online but somehow the payment must… Read more »
