My complaint:
I was told by the home delivery driver that it is your policy to deliver perishable with one or two days left as the use by date. The drivers are supposed to inform the customer that on perishable goods that the goods will be out of date the following day or 2 days after delivery giving the customer chance to cancel. Among my order were 2 packs of paninis with a use by date showing as tomorrow. I am elderly and disabled and have to buy on line. These perishables are useless to me, as I shop on line once a month. Even if I shopped online once a week, why would I want products with such a short use by date? This policy is unfair to say the least. I hope you change your policy quickly or I will employ more stringent tactics. I will email your managing director, my MP and the television channels.
Suggested solution:
Change the policy to deliver perishable goods with a longer use by date.
