My complaint:
I walked into Moes and it was pretty slow. It was a bunch of younger employees. No big deal. The two girls were sorta rude but a just blew it off. The first guy was just quiet but didn’t think any thing of it. When I asked for onion and peppers, they were on the grill. I knew I was going to have to wait and I didn’t mind. The girl seemed annoyed I had asked for them. Rolled her eyes, and again, I ignored it. I went ahead and walked to the register. The cashier was on his phone and I waited a little bit before he even paid attention to me. He said, “what did you get” in a bored snarky attitude. I told him and he resumed texting. He rung me up and I didn’t want a meal and handed me two drink cups. I again was like ok, I’ll just go with it. The guy in front of me also asked for mushrooms and the employee was annoyed and pulled mushrooms out and placed them on the grill. We waited for our food. A girl behind me came up and nicely asked if she could get some chips because she didn’t get any. The female employee put some in a bag and threw it on the counter. Did not hand it to the girl. The cashier continued to text and the guest didn’t know if she was suppose to take them or not. She asked and the cashier was like, “yeah, those are yours so take them!” She had to then, reach across the counter and grab them because they were on the opposite side. I finally got my order and the girl rudely said, “this is YOUR order” I said thank you and left. I didn’t receive any chips and didn’t even think to check my order because I was so annoyed. My order was completely wrong. I’m allergic to mushrooms and I have mushrooms in my order, no onion and peppers, so needless to say, I cannot eat my bowl. My fiancé ate his steak stack. He told me to go back but I am not driving 20min for them to be rude again to me. I also was not given a receipt to see the order number or who took my order, which also does not help
Suggested solution:
Not allow phones and be more on top of customer service. Especially because it was not busy. I am very unhappy with my service as I already am not a huge Moe’s fan and only went because my fiancé wanted it. We are very supportive of the service industry as he is a bartender and server but this is absolutely uncalled for.
