My complaint:

The inmates at the Pearl River jail are being treated inhumanely violating constitutional rights is an understatement for PEARL RIVER JAIL.

They are unable to see the light of day. The windows are covered with paint. They never take them out of that dorm.

The employees passed their COVID virus to the inmates. My husband almost died of it. They did not go in and render aid nor assess while he was running a fever and screaming for help. The mail lady went in to see if they were ok. These were unethical practices noted by the nurse. She could not tell me when the last time she went in to see my husband let alone the inmates with detrimental healthcare issues.

The mail is never delivered on time they receive mail two months later. No visits no kiosk. To see your family. This is inhumane.

Suggested solution:

Check on them more often; as in physically get up walk in there where they are look with your eyes not on a television video camera; Please offer visits; Kiosk; Ipad; give them their mail; hire some help for that mail room lady; take them out for rec; let them see outside; see their family.

These people are human they should be treated as such.
