My complaint:
I filed for UIA in January of 2021, never received any payment. First had to Verify my ID 5 times, which included my taking a picture of myself with all my info in the picture. Finally one lady changed my ID that was in their system wrong. Still no change. Was Denied, protested the denial, never received an answer. My employer sent a letter in protest for me, no response. I have reached out to the gov. the Att General, State senators, no response.
I was laid off this spring again in March. Filed, my employer got his letter stating everything was good. signed up for MI works, certified every time necessary, looked for work, no payment recieved to date. First they whack a moled me with ID verification. Now they are claiming that I didn’t certify on time. I have screen shots of every time I certified, they are all on time.
Suggested solution:
Hire a human being to work at UIA. Not steal money from the employers who are forced to pay into a system that lets their employees down when its needed. Mainly pay the moneys due so people can maintain their livelihoods as best as possible.
