My complaint:

Yet again, a single comment of around a couple hundred characters has been blocked and deleted because it goes against their guidelines for SPAM.

This time, unlike the previous times directly referencing Israel’s illegal settlements and the on-going genocide of the Palestinian people, it was about people who receive their news through people who hint and suggest and insinuate, but never explicitly say anything.

here’s what I managed to copy paste:

Your comment goes against our Community Guidelines
We’ve removed your comment because it goes against our Community Guidelines on spam. If you post something that goes against our guidelines again, your account may be deleted, including your posts, archive, messages and followers.
Comment removed for spam

Spam guidelines
We don’t allow people to spam others to get likes, follows, shares or video views.
We define spam as things such as:
• Offering Instagram features that don’t exist
• Selling Instagram accounts or usernames
• Claiming others have to like, follow or share before they can see something
• Sharing links that are harmful or don’t lead to their promised destination
How we make decisions
We use the same Community Guidelines around the world, and for everyone on Instagram.
We use either technology or a review team to remove anything that doesn’t follow our guidelines as quickly as possible.
Our review team works in many languages to make sure that our guidelines are applied consistently.

The comment suggested people ask themselves questions about how they’re receiving their news about the world; it was one comment sent in isolation, I hadn’t made a single comment on a single post on any other pages within the last few hours. What spam?

This is blatant censorship; I said if your news comes from people who don’t give information clearly, and instead hint at hidden threats, then you ought to start using your own faculties to do research. That’s it. No threats, no spam…

Suggested solution:

They SHOULD stop blocking and deleting comments under spurious grounds of spam. They should admit they delete comments to better serve their interests; everyone already knows this is true. They should apologise for the stress and upset they've caused so many people trying to connect, communicate, and help one another. Imagine people are trying to show support for people suffering, and meta decides they can't allow that...
