My complaint:

I made a $15 online purchase on 1/11. Within minutes, my phone received several text messages and several phone call attempts. I work in a SCIF and can’t have my phone with me.
The next day, in an attempt to find out what was happening, I tried to contact the bank.
The only phone number listed had only one option to speak to someone, which was the transaction dispute desk. After a frustrating conversation there, I was transferred to the card holder services. I’ve been on hold for over an hour and I’m no closer to finding out why my bank is so alarmed about that transaction than I was yesterday. Has my account been compromised? Is that vendor a scam? Has my information been found on the dark web? What is going on?
