My complaint:
This is not a specific complaint on anyone person, my issue with the lingering COVID policy preventing immediate family from spending the night with a patient that needs assistance. My 92 year old mother is here with a fractured pelvis, the pain meds have her totally wiped out. I have always stayed with her or any family that needed more than just an hourly or two check from a nurse. I can understand this policy originally but at this stage in the pandemic I think it’s ridiculous!! Family staying has always been a welcomed practice, it makes everyone’s life easier, especially the nursing staff. I could go on but I won’t, please reconsider this policy and the implications it has!
