My complaint:
After paying for our order, my boyfriend politely requested access to the restroom- to which the cashier responded by telling him that if he took longer than literally 2 minutes, she was going to call the police and have him escorted from the property. He was in there for maybe 90 seconds before the (female) employee left the register (with a long line of customers still waiting to order) to barged in the restroom and demanded that he leave, berating him in front of a whole crowd of customers. He has never used their bathroom before this incident, and this abhorrent behavior by these employees was embarrassing and extremely upsetting- absolutely uncalled for. If something isn’t done about this in a timely manner, we will be seeking legal counsel and contacting the local news stations to make sure this doesn’t happen to anyone else. I’ve included a photo of my receipt from this transaction so the date and time can be noted, and the surveillance reviewed. This employee should be held accountable for going out of their way to make a customer feel so humiliated and hurt. Beyond not acceptable.
Suggested solution:
We feel that the employee responsible should be held accountable for her actions, and that we deserve some form of compensation for this maltreatment.
