My complaint:
My significant other is an employee at the McAllister’s in Bonaire, Georgia (State Route 96). Over the weekend (Saturday, August 12th), he found out his uncle passed away suddenly.
Due to the nature of this, he was unable to put in time off. Today (August 15th) his family made funeral plans and he attempted to speak to his manager about the situation.
His manager responded by telling him that he should come up with better excuses. My significant other has rarely, if ever, put in time off and is a diligent employee. I find the manager’s response to be entirely unacceptable and unprofessional.
