My complaint:
My daughter bought me a mastercard gift card in Encino Ca at a Ralphs grocery store. I live in Pittsburgh, Pa and when I tried to use the card repeatedly, it was declined. Called the number on back of the card SEVERAL times and no one has resolved this issue. It was an $80 gift card. Every person I have talked to at Mastercard gift cards has given me the run around. Apparently these numbers were stolen I am assuming from the grocery store and then used these numbers when the card was activated. They sent me a new gift card with no balance on it!! It is blank. No money. I am tired of trying to resolve this issue with them. Mastercard gift cards are a scam. I called the Ca attorney general’s office yesterday and I am going to make a formal complaint against mastercard and the grocery store.
Suggested solution:
They should give me the $80.00 that my daughter paid for this card.
