Mastercard complaint: Automatically updating creditcards is a disastrous policy

My complaint:

Recently Mastercard added a new feature where they update old card information with select vendors when your credit card information changes. Because of this policy, I got a charge from an old card from the Sony PlayStation Network on an account that was hacked. Ostensibly this policy is intended to help with subscription services, as I didn’t have to update my credit card with Geico either. However, this policy defeats the purpose of getting new credit cards after fraudulent activity since anyone can get hacked on an old account from a recognized vendor and then you get more fraud from a card that should not even be active!

Suggested solution:

Give us a way to opt-out and disable this feature for our credit card(s). I would rather get an email from someone that my card needs to be replaced than have to go looking for every account that might have old credit card information that could ultimately compromise my account with new fraud.
