I booked a Lyft at 10:30 pm and was told be ready for pick up at 10:42 pm – 11:03pm. Fare was going to be $24,00 and some change to take me and my (2) grand kids home. It started to raining, thundering and lightening and it got colder. I waited and waited and waited for Lyft to find a driver. The weather was getting worser rain was pouring down.
I was cancelling the ride when I got a message saying I was the next one to be booked a ride. I went there to get medicine for my grand son who was not feeling good anyway. It was after 12:00 pm still no Lyft. Message still trying to find the closet driver. Not True!!! When I booked my ride it was for a save and ride fare in which I normally do. It was getting later and we were cold, stranded, and being treated poorly. WHY???? I cancelled the trip and booked it again, the fare was going to be $36.00 and some change. Which was outrageous!!!! I had no choice me and my grand kids had been stranded waiting in the colder which made my grandson feel even worser. After ing the ride Lyft
Drivers appeared from everywhere on the map!!! This was unacceptable and unfair!!!! Why was I treated this way with my grandkids suffering in unstable weather. The first driver took the trip and was to arrive in 11 minutes. He cancelled. Finally another driver accepted the trip and was to arrive in 9 minutes. I was totally upset, angry, mad and sad that we were treated in this manner, Me and my grand kids didn’t arrive home until after 1:00 AM!!! This is just wrong!!!
I was a valued customer and was very impressed with the service. But not I don’t think I’ll be recommending or using your service any longer!!!!
Suggested solution:
I would like a refund!!! An apology for pain and suffering you caused my grand kids and me just standing out in the rain, thundering and lightening, tired, sleepy, not feeling well and stranded!!! KNOWING THAT YOU WERE NOT GOING TO ACCOMMODATE ME A LYFT RIDE HOME!!! THIS IS A TOTAL DISGRACE UNCALL FOR!!!!!
