My complaint:
I needed to rent a truck when I went to do so I was asked if i needed the truck for 90min or 4 hrs or 24 hrs at 6 15 pm on January 9 I was told if payed fo4 four hrs but 9nly needed it for one hr I would not be refunded but if I got it for 90 minutes and went over I would be charged 5 $ for every 15 minutes I went over so I opted for the 90 minutes option well do to circumstances beyond my control it too me considerably longer I called at 815 and explained I expected to make it by 915 and was.informed managers would be there after nine well I ended.up making it back at 930 pm wasn’t able to completely refill the tank to the qt tank It was left with 1 /8 of a tank of fuel it took till 945 to get someones attention they unlocked the door and excepted the return I expected to get most of my 150 deposit returned minus the over time penalty of 1.5 hrs after not receiving it to my card by today Jan 11 I called to ask why and was. Told the assistant. Manager decided on his own I was to not receive aby5hing back which I gave 170$ 150 deposit and 20 for 1.5 so called your corporate number who called the store tell them I had called and that they supported the assistant manager and it was allowed to run there store as they wish I called customer service and was told again that because it was after hrs I would not receive my deposit I was being charged for 24 hrs even though they took possession back before 10 the same day had I been told this was going to be the case I would gav3 kept it for the 24 I feel the managers are stealing from. Me and being supported in it I am a long time lowes consumer foe over 40 yrs but will not be back to another unless my deposit minus gas and 90 minutes late charges and further more will share my story with anyone that will listen
