Loblaws complaint: poor service

My complaint:

My husband was prescribed for Parkinson and the doctor forward it to pharmacy on Tuesday May 242022. The woman who was working said she’s too busy and to come back the next day. I went back the next day and she stated they won’t have the pills until Thurs or Fri. I called Fri and was on hold for a half hour when someone finally picked up and hung up on me. I live outside city limits so I drove into the city and arrived at 11:10AM. This same woman said to give her 15 mins and she’ll have it ready. I told her that I would be back. I came back in a half hour and she claimed that I didn’t tell her that I would be back. I told her that I did tell her that and she stated that she didn’t hear me with a smurk on her face and wanted me to wait again. This was at 11:45AM and I had to be at work for 12. My husband still hasn’t gotten his prescription. I went to Jean Coutu and had them to transfer the prescription. I swear that I will never step foot in that superstore again and I’m usually there everyday as a homecare worker, I shop for them each day. I informed my clients today that I refuse to step foot in there again and they’ll have to deal with Sobey’s. I’ll be contacting the Manager at Superstore to inform them as well that they lost a customer due to this rude woman in the Pharmacy. My husband will have to wait another couple of days for his prescription thanks to her.

Suggested solution:

Hiring a person who cares about patients getting their prescriptions and not to be so rude. As soon as the pills came in on Friday, that prescription should have been filled knowing that he was waiting since Tuesday for it. Thank god it wasn't life or death. I do hope that she will be spoken to concerning this but I have my doubts. It'll probably be swept under the rug. My family and friends are moving their prescriptions as well as my clients.
