My complaint:

I have a PC optimum card, not a smart cell phone.
Why on earth would you make the customer use the app on their phone for this deal. Not everyone has these perks.
You are categorizing customers by their electronics to get deals.
Shame on you for doing this.
You have just lost a loyal customer and former employees for over twenty years. I will be shopping elsewhere from now on.
I was not the only customer in the store passed off about this.

Suggested solution:

Change it back to being able to just scan your card for that option.
