My complaint:

I went in and picked up a household plant and went to queue. I was holding the plant in one hand and before the cashier was even finished dealing with the customer ahead of me she started yelling at me put it down, put it down. I was puzzled but put the plant down on the ground in front of me even though there didn’t seem an sense in doing that. When the customer ahead of me paid and left the cashier just sat looking at me so I picked the plant up and walked to the side of the till that you pay at. When I walked around the cashier started yelling at me again put it down, put it down. She looked at it and asked for €15 took my money gave me change and said have a nice day. I really think this person was on a power trip of some sort. I asked the security person if there was a manager on duty and was shown to a man who was working on a cash desk dealing with customers. He dealt with my complaint as he was checking out items. Not that he was interested anyway. A horrible experience. I went in to buy one thing, didn’t bother anyone and staff think its ok to yell orders at customers just because they think they can get away with it.

Suggested solution:

They should have someone on the shop floor who can deal with complaints. They should train their staff not to be rude and aggressive. I think in future when I am going through the cash desk at aldi I will have my phone on video. At least if I am going to be humiliated in public I can show it on social media.
