My complaint:

I purchased a Kia Optima for my grandson along with a warranty. The engine failed in November of 2023, the transmission failed in Jan of 2024. I paid to replace the engine which cost $7,402.91. Kia has give me the run around and the representative known only as Kenny will not return my phone calls.

They paid the Kia dealer, Towbin Kia of Las Vegas, to replace the transmission and I paid the deductible of $280 but Kia has not sent me my out of pocket cost to replace the engine. I will NEVER buy another Kia. I contacted Kia today to get their mailing address so I can have them served with a demand letter which will more than likely follow with ANOTHER LAWSUIT against them.

Can’t park the car in the garage for fear of it catching fire and can’t park it on the street for fear of it being stolen. This is going on YELP and every other platform consumers read. The public needs to know just how awful this company is.

Suggested solution:

They should have honored the warranty I purchased and paid me the engine replacement cost.
