My complaint:
Took my child out for an ice cream treat at kaspa’s and he could have ended up with anaphylaxis.
When I entered the shop, I stood talking to the staff member for a long time explaining my son’s food allergies and was deciding with her on what he could safely have. She spent so long doing that with me I didn’t for one second think I’d have anything to worry about and then when they bring the dessert and my son starts to eat and then let’s me try some and thank god he did because I could taste Hazlenut choc sauce?! I took it back and the girl who made it had put the wrong sauce, it wasn’t explained to her from her team mate or put through on the order?! Absolutely shocking. Lack of professionalism. Lack of experience. Lack of care or empathy for people living with food allergies. Disgusting. Ruined our day. Will never be back in any of their shops.
Suggested solution:
Both of those staff members should be sanctioned at the highest level. Due to their incompetence my son could have had his life put at risk. It was meant to be a nice treat for him. I'm so saddened by this.
