My complaint:
Having placed an order for 2 meals from McDonalds, along with 2 portions of sides, what turned up was a single Diet Coke.
The only possible route of contact was through ‘chat’ on the app and, having gone through 3 separate conversations, I received ation that all they would do is send me an email to which I needed to respond with images of the order (how can I send images of an order that didn’t arrive?!)
I then went to the Restaurant, who refused to give me my order and insisted that I go through Just Eat!
3 days later, I have still received no email and McDonalds have again directed me to Just Eat!
Absolutely shocking! My order cost more than £20 and I received no food at all!
The Just Eat website provides no opportunity to contact anyone, the only option is to provide a review of the order.
Suggested solution:
Provide a full refund and propose a gesture that will persuade me to utilise the Just Eat platform again. As it stands, they have effectively stolen my money and demonstrated themselves as being nothing but Charlatans.
