Jewel Osco complaint: Moldy (gone bad) hot dog buns

My complaint:

I was very disappointed today. I took the hot dog buns into Jewel for a refund. The reason I was asking for a refund was the buns were moldy. I did not eat them. I brought them to the Jewel from which I purchased them and showed two people. The person said she can’t help me because the date on the buns was 1213 which was yesterday. She said if I would have brought them yesterday, then she would help me. I was disgusted because clearly the buns looked awful and moldy and would have been yesterday on 1213 on the last sales date. I felt like your employee was saying to me I am a liar. And I have never brought anything back to Jewel in my life. I left the store disgusted and told them to throw out the buns.

Suggested solution:

Given all I went thru, going out of my way to go to the Jewel again, I think a $20 gift card would be appropriate.

You can call the Jewel store and I gave them the rotten buns at 12:45 pm on 1214.
