My complaint:
I called at 6:30pm to ask for the 12 piece be made up and put aside, and the guy assures chicken is made, i said, ok thank you I’ll be there in 5 minutes. I walk in exactly 5 minutes later, and there’s 6 people in front of me and 3 behind me. I take my number. After waiting 15 minutes, 3 people in, majority of the fried chicken is gone. Then Donna yells out, (who by the way is the nicest, best employee you have there) thats all for making chicken we can sell the wings! I’m like, what?! Its 6:47pm. I understand that the deli closes at 8:00 p.m. now. That is fine.
When you run a weekly sale for the 12 piece, and another jewel 2 mikes away just closed completely a couple weeks prior, WHY wouldn’t there be more people working and chicken cooking duringdinner time? Especially seeing the chicken line as long as it is? Poor management.
Suggested solution:
Please put a sign out that the chicken section of deli closes an hour earlier than the deli. It's completely misleading. More MOTIVATED people back there would be helpful too. Donna's the hardest worker you have back there.
