My complaint:
I am writing to file a formal complaint regarding a highly distressing and unsafe experience that occurred during a recent flight with JetBlue Airways. On September 2, my two children and I were on flight number 1532 from Cartagena, Colombia to JFK Airport in New York. On this flight, we encountered two incidents that put our lives at risk.
Approximately 10 minutes after takeoff, the plane made three sharp maneuvers: first to the right, then to the left, and finally a rapid descent that felt like a free fall. The level of horror and panic among the passengers was overwhelming, leading everyone onboard to scream in terror. As someone who has flown more than 40 times and has never been afraid of airplanes or heights, I can confidently say that I have never experienced such intense fear in my life. This traumatizing ordeal is something that I will not be able to forget.
Furthermore, the landing was extremely turbulent, with the plane swaying from side to side and struggling to support the wheels upon touchdown. I can confidently say that this was the worst landing I have ever experienced, further reinforcing my belief that the previous incidents were not simply a result of a gust of wind, but rather an act of irresponsibility, negligence, and disregard for passenger safety. It is unacceptable that the lives of all the passengers were put in danger multiple times during this flight.
I demand a thorough investigation into what transpired during this flight, specifically regarding the actions of the pilots and the condition of the aircraft. I also request an immediate response from JetBlue Airways regarding the outcome of this investigation. It is crucial that the necessary steps are taken to prevent such incidents from occurring in the future and to ensure the safety and well-being of all passengers.
