My complaint:
I am a door dash driver who received an order from Jersey Mikes, upon arriving I entered the store, not a single customer in the store except 2 men who were already seated and eating their meal. I went to the counter and told the girl I was here for a door dash order, she took the receipt from the to go orders and said to give her 5 minutes and it will be ready, I said thank you and went to use the restroom, when I finished in the restroom I went to the to go order to wait for my order when 2 customers walked in, they took my order and set it aside and proceeded to take care of the customers that walked in, just as they were finishing the 2 orders, 2 more customers walked in and again my order was set aside again to serve the 2 new customers who walked in, I asked the girl if she was going to finish my order and again I was told 5 minutes, when a group of about 6 more customers walked in, the manager I assume came out from the back to help, the girl who I first talked to was in the process of finishing my order when the manager again pushed my delivery order aside and began to take the orders of the 6 customers who just walked. This was yesterday evening , I arrived at the store at 5:18 pm, after seeing my order set aside for the third time I told the manager the when I walked in the the store there wasn’t a single customer in here and was told my order would be ready in 5 minutes, and now every time a customer walks you set aside my order to serve them, I said I am a customer to and I’m here on behalf of the customer who ordered, he screamed at me if you don’t like it cancel the order, I replied I’m not canceling my delivery order when it was supposed to be ready 10 minutes ago according to door dash app at 5:28, it is now 5:39 pm, when all of a sudden the manager grabbed the receipt of the customer I was waiting for and started screaming at me 5:49, 5:49 over and over again, and again I said according to my app it says order will be ready by 5:28 and raised my phone to show the time, when again all of a sudden the manager with his arm straight out in front of him began speed walking towards me screaming 5:49, 5:49 with the receipt in his hand, as he approached me he reached over the counter shoving the receipt towards my face, if I didn’t move he would of hit me in the face with it, and when I said you tried hitting me with that he screamed at now get out of my store and never come back here, I immediately left the the store because I have never felt so threatened by him and didn’t want it to become physical, I am 56 and disabled, I depend on door dash for a living, and now I can’t pick up any orders from Jersey Mikes or any orders that are combined with Jersey Mikes because of the fear of being arrested for trespassing if I enter the store. I was almost physically assaulted and was verbally assaulted by this manager because I questioned him on why my order was constantly being set aside to serve the customers who walked in .
Suggested solution:
I want him fired and to be allowed to continue picking orders up from Jersey Mikes, I am also in contact with an attorney
