My complaint:
Hello I stayed in town suites in Douglasville Georgia on December 12282021. My stay was so awful, when I checked in she told me to go look in the room and I did. It looked pretty average to me and said to myself okay I can stand it. It wasn’t until that night roaches came from everywhere when I turned on the light from waking up. They were in the toilet on the walls just everywhere. When I went to check the room I looked in the shower and look normal to me. But then when I got in to take a shower and looked up the shower here was awful and disgusting. Remind you I have just had neck surgery and needed a place to stay for the month until my healing so that I can see the same doctor. When I went to the office to complain she told me that she could spray the room. But spring the room was not going to help because I could not stay with the fumes but just having surgery. But the point is I had paid for the whole month in full thinking that it would be okay. But I just couldn’t take it anymore when I woke up to a roach on my toothbrush. I checked out January the 3rd of 2022 I want you to the office to complain and she gave me nothing but attitude. I didn’t even get upset with her I told her she could keep the week but can I please have the refund of the rest of my money. I even left a complaint with InTown suites that Friday and still as of today January 13th I have not got a reply back yet. The lady in the office did tell me that they were refund the rest of my money but they would have to keep the week that I had stayed. I was okay with that but to keep over $1, 300 of my money because you say you have a no refund policy. But you have an obligation as a hotel not to have roaches and for your rooms to be up to standard. I even got a non-smoking room because I can’t stand smoke and upgraded room because I wanted it to be pretty nice. But this was the most horrible and the most terrible situation I have been through right after going through surgery. I don’t see how a company could be so heartless and not even offer you your money back no one made you to give you a room with roaches. They don’t even sweep the floor roaches were even in the refrigerator gosh. And I have pictures of everything it won’t let you download one right now but I have more than that. That is so awful and so terrible that InTown suites will treat their guest is such a manner.
Suggested solution:
I believe they should do the right thing with an upstanding person would do and refund the rest of my money that I did not stay for the month of January.
