Complaint: I’m being forced to move into a filthy room where the door doesn’t lock

My complaint:

I’m a resident in your Lanada location in Greensboro NC. My family an I checked in on 10152020 and aren’t due to check out till 111220. We are paid up till then when we were going to extend… Not anymore. We were informed that our room that is already an updated room btw, has been selected to be renovated 7am tomorrow and we would have to finish and or continue our stay in the room next door. The room next door stinks, Its infested with roaches, the walls are stained and have holes form where it looks like some punched through and most importantly, the door only locks if someone is in it…. I can’t and won’t put my wife and 2 young children in that environment. Not for one night. We will finish our stay and check out when we are supposed to and then move to the hotel next door as we have nowhere else to go. Please reschedule the renovation till after we check out. Suggested solution:

Let is stay for the time we paid for or, renovate the room they want us to move to as that's the one that needs the work. My room is amazing as it is. 328 needs the updating
