My complaint:

i personally loved shopping for instacart before and really enjoyed the benefits given and did it as my summer job as a college student, however they have recently updated the app and i am extremely disappointed. now, i barely get access to batches because my ratings were below 4.7 for simple things customers did not like, such as a damaged item for reasons that were out of my control. i am barely making enough to pay for gas. they also just sent me an email saying they were going to stop with fuel assistance, which, while the assistance they provided was very minimal, was still necessary especially for long distance orders. i spent two whole days trying to speak to instacart care people trying to get my issue resolved and they all said they were going to help me remove unfair ratings and the problem would be resolved within hours, and every single time they said this notbing happened. it has now been a week and a half. this was such an amazing job for people like college students and even those who needed a little extra money on the side, but with these updates it’s hard to say if it is even worth it or if i should just get another job.

Suggested solution:

at the very least listen to my concerns and follow through with your word to fix them, if not get rid of the update and keep providing fuel assistance.
