My complaint:
We had our 2022 taxes prepared in the Lincoln, RI HR BLOCK office. The HR preparer entered an incorrect bank account number. And our CA refund of $1890 went to the wrong account. We have contacted the bank, CA Franchise Tax Board and HR Block. But NO refund. It has been a year now.
Warning: DO NOT trust the HR Block accuracy guarntee.
Suggested solution:
We would like HR Block to stand by their promise and pay us the full refund of $1890 plus interest loss due to delay.
